Wardrobe and Sauna. Badkast was designed by Anna van der Lei and consists of a wardrobe and sauna, especially combined to meet the requirements of small modern spaces. In this case, it was a general need that provoked the idea behind the design: “The Dutch version of the Finnish sauna. You do not have to have a large garden or a great deal of space to accommodate it: the dressing room and the bathing space are integrated in a single large closet made of larch wood. The specially designed joints expand when they become wet, ensuring that the bath closet remains fully watertight”, explains the designer. Ingenious, right?
Your living room is one of the most important rooms in your house. It is not just a relaxing space that welcomes guests and visitors, it also serves as a home’s showcase and focal point. And you probably spend a lot of time in it.
Lighting. Selecting the proper lighting in your bathroom is important because a light, bright room will feel bigger. Good lighting can transform the space and make all other design elements pop. Unless you’re particularly savvy with electrical work, leave electrical projects to professionals unless you’re just swapping out a fixture. In terms of efficiency, install LED lights. They use at least 75% less energy and last 25 times longer than incandescent lighting (and won’t heat up the room).
We also have some ideas for color accents to make your space your own. Before you add any furniture to your small apartment, take a weekend to organize and clear your place. Go through your closets and cabinets, and donate or discard anything you don’t need or haven’t used for some time.

Black isn’t just for a teenager’s room: Black can be a tough nut to crack if used to paint your walls. The problem with black is that it gives the illusion of tight space. If you would like to satisfy your teenager’s cries for a black room, consider a black ceiling with a few stars. If you want to go all out, you can decorate with a nighttime landscape theme across the room.
Seating Units and Side Table. Did you ever look around your home and imagine a cupboard or a table break down into functional pieces? The idea for the project entitled “Within- Seating Units and Side Table ” comes from Mattias Stenberg of Stockholm-based Studio Vision, who describes the limited edition piece as follows: “I have strove to create a very “engineered” or constructed look of the ash structure by using few straight lines and arranging the grain direction of the wood to increase the perception of depth.” Elegant and versatile, the pieces do more than just adorn a room- they add personality.
There are few places where a teen can express themselves unabashedly. The bedroom is the top choice. The beauty of being a teenager is that the world is their oyster. Their favorite things are diverse and sometimes discordant, but with some planning, all ideas can tie together beautifully.

Appeal to a highly educated crowd with complex colors: For home exteriors and interiors, using colors that consist of more than one word can often appeal to highly educated people. On the other hand, simple colors appeal to lower budgets and lower education levels. When choosing complex colors, think of names like forest green or eggshell white.
Paint the Floor. Painting the floors can open up a world of design possibilities, especially if you choose to paint or stain a concrete floor. For modern simplicity, a bold, solid color or bright white works well. You can also imitate the look of traditional checkerboard tile with two contrasting paint colors. Concrete floors look especially sleek with an ultra-shiny coat of epoxy that reflects light back into the space. Concrete can also be stained for a more subtle finish that imitates the look of quarried stone or marble for a more natural look.
